Christmas Tree Farms

Local farms offer a great variety of live and fresh-cut trees, as well as wreaths, holly and mistletoe. Wagon rides, entertainment, petting farms, hot beverages and visits from Santa at some of the farms combine to make a great family outing.

All the tree farms listed provide hand saws, and many provide cutting assistance. It’s a good idea to call ahead to make sure so there are no disappointments. Some activities are available only on weekends. For more information on these farms, visit www.PSCTA.org.

Alpine U-Cut by HRD. Features free coffee, cider, hot cocoa and baling. Trees available: Noble, Douglas, Grand, Fraser Firs. 9am-dusk daily, through Dec. 22. Lake Flora Rd., Bremerton. 360-308-2214.

Clyde ‘n’ Dale’s Holiday Trees and Gifts. Ride a trolley pulled by a team of Clydesdales to acres of Christmas trees. Boy Scout and 4-H helpers will cut down tree, shake off old needles and bale with netting for easy transport home. Warm up by wood stove in gift shop with free coffee or hot cider. Free candy canes for kids. Santa visits 1-3pm Sundays. Call for music and events calendar. Harvey’s Harvest. Features tall trees, wreaths, swags and pine cones, cutting assistance and hot beverages. Hunter Christmas Tree Farm. Features a large Christmas shop, live reindeer, donkeys, goats, llama, wagon rides, wreaths, tall trees and Santa on weekends.
